The flavor of religion is forcing one to do something, religion is forced

Saul didn’t wait for Samuel. Samuel was a type or representation of Christ, Saul represent man, Saul stepped in without waiting for Saul, he paid a steep price, his kingdom was passed on to a shepherd (David).

Perhaps it is not so much that it is forced upon people, but that they willingly accede?

  could be, I see a huge difference between Christianity and religion. to me Christianity is to follow Christ and let him live out of my being out of me and religion is a man made system that counterfeits what Christianity is to be very poorly. Its like calling coffee coke because its a liquid and it’s black
